Lister Petter engines in action during Dubai’s floods
Back in April, one of our directors, Ryan, took a trip to Dubai for the annual Middle East Energy Exhibition. Which unfortunately coincided with the heaviest rainfall Dubai has ever recorded in a 24-hour period. The city practically shut down, and the exhibition was cancelled.
Despite the washout, we got to see some Lister Petter engines in action, doing what they do best – working hard in challenging conditions. One standout was a 1997 TR1, powering a Khansaheb Sykes pump. This trusty engine was one of many helping to keep Dubai afloat during the floods.
