This week we received an enquiry to replace an old Lister SR2 engine. This particular engine is a genuine Lister SR2 marine propulsion engine with a Lister marine gearbox. These specific engines would normally be used to power small boats, however, this particular engine has been modified and is used to power a winch that drags boats back up the beach.

As the SR2 engine is no longer produced by Lister, we have matched up and are quoting a comparable TR2 engine. The current Lister Petter engines are still as strong, rugged and reliable as they have always been. The customer should have no problem making this new engine last another 50 years like the old one.
